Semele's playmates

Ok these two look the part of Semele's parents, but they're so not. That's Athena and Hermes. Little Semele was never raised by her parents. Like human royal children she was raised by various servants and tutors. Athena became her tutor ( only the best for an imperial princess) and governess. Artemis was like her P.E. instructor you could say. And Hermes was just her best friend! Semele was the last Goddess to be born so all the other gods and goddesses were already grown up. She wasnt allowed to play with human children, and never allowed outside of heaven alone. But she didnt mind. Her father was busy with his court and the rest of the world and her mother she rarely saw. Queen Selene had 50 other girls and THEIR father as well as her own duties as the Empress ( she's a Queen and Empress![I know, complicated]). Semele did play with her half sisters sometimes. If they weren't too sleepy. Semele spent most of her time in the kitchen with Aunt Hestia and avoiding Athena and her lessons.
