King Richard III and his Queen, Anne Neville. Richard was Elizabeth of York's uncle. He was also the man who put the little princes (his nephews) in The Tower of London where they were supposedly murdered by Richard's orders. They were around 8 and 12 years old.
Charming dude huh?

i did not make this!!! i photographed it in Cardiff Castle in Wales.

Yes, I agree. He was a good king and didn't have a hump at all.

I've seen this before. It is beautiful. It captures an aspect of Richard which for too long has been polluted by Shakespearean and Tudor propaganda.

Richard was a kind and just king, the closest England has ever gotten to a true King Arthur.

I absolutely love stained glass, and this is a perfect example of why. I also like the historical aspect of it, too, since it is not often that I find anything concerning this particular English king in general. It's also not very often that I see Richard III without the Shakespearean influence. And the White Boar is there, too! ^.^ Richard and Anne are very nicely depicted here, certainly.

I should love to see these two in person. If I ever I visit Wales, I shall make it a priority to visit Cardiff Castle, just to see these stained glass windows. Amazing. Simply.

Thank you so much, for sharing this!

Hello and thanks! I am so glad that you shared the photos of Richard and Anne; they are truly amazing! I've never seen stained glass renditions of them before online or anywhere else, for that matter. And if the interior design of the castle is as you say, then that gives me all the more reason to visit it! :) I love architecture, since I believe it is very much an art in and of itself.

Thanks again!

I'd like to see Castle Cardiff, truly, since I love castles in general. I plan to see it now, although I really should like to also take time and travel, not just in Wales, but to also see England and Scotland, too. I have a feeling that I shall be visiting a lot of castles when I do! :)
